Because the fabric is a sateen, it has a lovely shine to it, and it also is nice to hand-stitch. I found that it dyed very well without pre-washing, so that’s a big win in my book!

These bolts are not stocked here at DippyDyes, which explains why it appears as ‘On Backorder.’ Unlike the Robert Kaufman bolts, the vendor ships to me first, then I ship it to you. The vendor’s minimum order amount is three bolts, so once my initial order is processed, I have to wait until I get enough orders to contact them.

An 18-yard bolt gives you enough fabric for 5 squares cut at 3 yards, 21″. The extra foot or so allows for shrinkage. I will update this listing once I know how much shrinkage happens in length and width.
