About DippyDyes & Lisa

Lisa started dyeing fabric in 1996, after seeing a segment on Fons & Porter's quilting show on PBS, before it was called 'Love of Quilting.' There was a hippie stage about 1970, but that's her sister's fault. Well, a few squares turned into a few quarter yards turned into buying 100 meters of white fabric at a time. In 2004, she started taking hand appliqué classes with Jane Townswick, and started selling fabric to her fellow students, bless them. A few years and a few dye classes later, it was time to take the plunge and dye for a living. This video will give you an idea of what that looks like:

We do several shows a year; see our show and class schedule here. Lisa also speaks to quilt guilds and teaches at your location or at her studio. For more information, contact Lisa for the current list of workshops. Thanks!
